Top 10 ways to look younger! Part 2 of 2

Here is the second part to my article “Top 10 ways to look younger!”

6.Water: You have heard me say this more than once! I honestly do not know how you can get through your day without water. Recently I had a day when I did not get my NORMAL 2lts, I was absolutely parched, I felt very tired and drained not only that day but the following day too.. Keep your blood purified with ample amounts of water on a daily basis. Water hydrates not only your inner workings but also your skin. Once you get into the habit of drinking water EVERYDAY you will immediately feel the benefit. 2lts of water is recommended. Have small glasses regularly throughout the day, or fill a bottle and bring with you on the go..this is a great reminder. Water is essential for a healthy energetic body. It keeps your skin glowing and flushes out toxins from within!

7.Let go of the nagging thoughts: What is on your mind? If something is nagging away at the back of your mind, there is a very good chance it is affecting your sleep, your mood, your energy, your motivation, your appearance and so on. Do you frown and sigh a lot? Frowning will age you quickly with increased lines and wrinkles .Talk to someone, make some changes, have a kinesiology treatment, write out your worries, do whatever you need to do to de-stress your mind and body from long-term stress. Short term pressure or stress can be good for us and challenging, when it carries on from month to month..year to year untreated the body wears out trying to cope. You can become ill and disinterested in life around you. Make a decision..Stop carrying around the burden or weight on your shoulders. You will physically feel lighter and look healthier when you let it go. For more information on this please contact me directly.

8.Skin brush/Exfoliate: It is a fact our skin cells die off every day..Without removing the dead skin cells regularly our skin can become dull, tired looked and older that it is! Revitalise your skin..at least weekly (2-3 times ideally) with a dry skin brush. Start brushing before you get into the shower/bath with long sweeping movements from the soles of the feet upwards towards the heart. Using a loofah in the shower is also great at renewing and rejuvenating your skin and your health as it hastens the rate of toxin removal from the body.

9. Reduce your alcohol consumption: In today’s society with alcohol being more expensive in licensed premises, strict drink driving laws, cheaper bottles of wine and the feeling of we deserve and need a drink after a long hard day..We drip drink. If you are in the habit of having a daily glass or 2 or 3 glasses of wine every night because you feel the need to unwind I strongly advise you to stop it.. not just to look younger but also to maintain your health and avoid addiction. Reward yourself in healthier more rejuvenating ways like a shower, watch a funny movie, call a friend for a chat, go for a walk, get to bed for an early night..you get the idea..anything to unwind other than drip drink every night. High alcohol consumption dehydrates every cell in your body, not only will you look older you will feel it too. Give your body, mind and skin a well deserved alcohol break. Feel the benefit of an alcohol free week or two.

10 Dance: I love dancing, when the music is good I could spend nothing short of 3 hours on the dance floor. It is fantastic for re-energising, making you laugh, making you feel good, keeping you fit… The good news is you don’t have to wait to be out on the town or waiting on a friend to go out..turn on your favourite music and dance at home. While you are waiting on the kettle to boil, while getting ready for work, while doing some other household chores. Music is fantastic at boosting your mood and your appearance. Keep looking and feeling younger by dancing away to your heart’s content. Take up dance classes if you are really looking for something to lift your mood, meet new people, get fit, de-stress and so much more.

Have fun.. I would love to hear how you are getting on with auctioning the steps? Keep in touch.
