Have you Real Food Sensitivities or Not?

The world is gone on a real frenzy! Everyone thinks they have a food sensitivity or an allergy of some kind or another! Once upon a time I was on this very same path. Every day I get queries about food testing, yes I do it as it is a very important part of how the body works, however this article may shock you as I endeavour to explain to you that food is NOT the only issue which must be addressed.

People are often so surprised when I say to them right now food is not your major issue and they wonder why I do not take them off a long list of foods like everyone else. The reason being is that if you have a jaw problem, a misalignment somewhere in the body, toxicity in the gut etc. foods will overtime cause you an issue but cutting the food out of your diet will not resolve the issue.

Food Sensitivities: Many people suffer from symptoms ranging from a runny nose to hives, tiredness, skin rashes, bloating, frequent changes in bowel habits, wheezing and coughing. These unpleasant symptoms are normally a result of the inability of the digestive system to function properly. Main reasons for a malfunctioning digestive tract are an imbalance in the acid alkaline levels in the gut, lack of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, lack of digestive enzymes, undigested food from poor chewing, an imbalance of toxins in the system such as parasites, yeast, bacteria, excess sugar in the diet, lack of sleep, poor dietary habits, eating the same foods everyday, high alcohol consumption, STRESS, adrenal exhaustion or burnout are all very common causes of food sensitivities. All of these areas need to be looked at to see if they are relevant to you.

Getting to the bottom of the sensitivity is most important. Cutting specific foods out often does not solve the problem. If it does, then food is your issue. Even when you are eating healthy your body will not be able to absorb all of the nutrition that it needs when the enzymes are missing which leads onto a build-up of toxins in your system from the food. Most problematic foods are wheat, gluten, dairy/lactose, eggs because we have so many of these in our diet on a daily basis. So often I experience when the system is restored the person does not have an issue with the food going forward. Moderation is key.
