I recently worked with a lady who has now transformed her life, her energy her outlook on like all in less than 10 weeks. When she came to me she anxious about her weight, was run down by yet another course of antibiotics and steroid sin her system for persistent colds, coughs and asthma. Her skin was very dry, she felt extremely tired, had no energy, would sleep all day if she could and had no motivation to do anything, although she knew she had loads to do!
Just last week the lady was back beaming!!! Before she came to me she was only taking the odd walk, but no consistent exercise. Any advice or recommendations I gave to her she just took and ran with them. The point is you can do anything you want to do once you decide you want to do it. She is now planning on completing a cycling trip and I am so proud of her for taking action and putting herself first. Everyone in her house has noticed the change in their mum for the better and she is thrilled with her progress, she has also lost over 9lbs and is only at the beginning of her journey…
What is your journey, what do you want to do that you just keep saying you cannot do? I really believe you can do anything if you really want to, there is always a way. Today I am asking you to take yourself on a challenge… think about what it is you really want to change, what is not working very well for you right now.
Don’t let life slip by with you saying I wish I had, give it a go and say I’m so glad I gave it a go. When I was younger running was something I was good at and loved to do, as time went on it was not something I was focusing on any longer, in the last few years it was on the back of my mind a lot then I was advised not to due to an old back injury. This year my goal was to run 3 races, that was it, since then I have done officially a 5k, and 2 10k runs, I was invigorated by them, now my goal is to complete my first ever marathon October 29th. I know it won’t be easy, but I will give it a go as it is what I really want to do. What’s your goal, go for it, you CAN do it.
Love to hear about your goals, comment below:
