How much time do you have? Part II

Last week I spoke about time and helping you realise how precious it is. When it is gone, it is gone. I asked you to start paying attention to how much time you really have each day. How did you get on with that? You may need to write down what you do each day to really see where your time goes. Then start removing unimportant things off the list, delegate and prioritise, by doing only what is most important.

The truth of the matter is, with each day which we are graciously given we all have 24 hours. That’s it. You can do what you like with those 24hours…what you do with your 24hrs is your choice. Every day we all go around with so much stuff in our heads of things we feel we should be doing, this is like having a big stick by your side and beating yourself up with it every time you think about what you have not done yet.

We actually waste a lot of our precious time trying to remember what we should be doing, we get so BUSY during the day that by the end of it we realise we are exhausted and have forgotten half of what we should have been doing. Then you have to ask the question, were these things really that important in the first place. The more you stress yourself out over this kind of thing, the less energy and the less time you will have for you.

So how can you change? From my own experience and working with people I have found, it all starts with you liking yourself. The more you like yourself, the more you respect yourself, the clearer your direction and the greater the amount of time you will GIVE yourself. There is no question about it. You can make all the excuses you like in the world, however until you decide YOU are important, that YOU matter, you will never make the time to put you as Number One..

It is not lack of time…it is lack of direction and focus.

It is not lack of time…it is lack of recognising you are important

It is not lack of time… it is valuing yourself enough to spend some precious time on you

Today Stop and Decide what change you are going to make and commit to it. Your health is the essence of your life. It needs to be looked after, pampered, nurtured and nourished.
