In 2013 I was medically evacuated from Rwanda because no-one knew what was wrong with me. At home in Ireland,it was much the same but luckily 2 days after I arrived, a neighbour suggested that I visit Gertrude Lawler… This was a turning point in my life – I was in the early stages of chronic fatigue with a tummy full of parasites but with close reflection on my life and lifestyle and some hard work and a lot of rest, we beat it! It took many months but I was able to continue treatment abroad with Gertrude’s Health and Wellness coaching sessions. I still attend Gertrude especially if I have any medical issues and have recommended her to many friends and family suffering from stress, digestive issues, chronic illnesses or to anyone who has exhausted the medical route. I still get tired but since 2013, I have travelled extensively, become a mother and run my own business so I think it’s ok to be tired sometimes 😉

Yes, I have studied how to read your blood results and what they actually mean. Doctors simply do not have the time to go through them with you or read them in depth and more than likely the very blood tests you actually need are not being done at all. Blood results are very important when taken into consideration with your whole medical history, health problem and symptoms. On their own they usually offer little solution but taken into consideration with your symptoms/health issues they can offer great insight. I always recommend to my clients to get their bloods taken every 1-2 years depending on age/health issues etc and to always obtain a copy of the results from their GP.
